Pre-Operative Instructions
- You must be escorted home by a responsible adult (relative or friend).
- Do not eat or drink anything within four (4) hours prior to your scheduled appointment, except water necessary to take prescribed medication.
- Wear clothing which is comfortable and loose fitting, preferably a short sleeved shirt.
- Take any medication the doctor has prescribed for you.
- Arrive ten (10) minutes prior to your appointment and use the rest room.
- For the remainder of the day following your appointment, definitely do not:
- Drive an automobile
- Operate any machinery
- Drink alcohol
- Make complex personal and financial decisions.
